As Catholics, who believe in the presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, we wanted the Blessed Sacrament Chapel to reflect this belief. Accordingly, the Blessed Sacrament Chapel was designed to be the most prominent and impressive architectural feature of the church. The chapel’s tower, the tallest part of the church, is three stories tall as it points toward the heavens. The tower’s stained glass window, appropriately enough, depicts Jesus. For those who drive by the church, the Chapel’s tower will be the feature of the church they remember. The inside location of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel had to be convenient to both the church and the Daily Mass Chapel. Inside the chapel, we also wanted to create another place that could also be used for quiet prayer and devotion.
