Upon entering the nave of the church, the location of the baptismal font allows for full congregational participation. The living moving waters in the font is used for immersion baptism of infants or the pouring of water on the entire body of a child or adult, to fully immerse them in Christ. It is through Baptism we entered the Church, so with water and the sign of the cross, we enter again into the worship of God. The baptismal font is also our holy water font.
