Faith Formation Committee
The Faith Formation Committee oversees religious education activities for children and adults. The committee is always in search of parishioners to volunteer their time and talent as teachers for young parishioners, sponsors for Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) candidates and catechumens, participants and leaders for adult education and the Little Rock Scripture Study.
Religious Education enrollment at All Saints is free. For children, classes are taught for the following age/grade levels: Pre-school (classes held during Sunday masses, dependent upon child’s age; children leave Mass following the celebrant’s homily), Grades 1 – 5 (classes held Wednesday evenings), Grades 6 – 8 (classes held Wednesday evenings) and Grades 9 – 12/Confirmation (classes held Sunday evenings).
In the Diocese of Knoxville, Confirmation is typically celebrated during the junior year of high school.
Adults interested in becoming a part of the Catholic Church or learning more about the Catholic religious are encouraged to become part of the RCIA program, held various weeknights from September until the Easter Vigil.
Various adult education opportunities are available at All Saints. For detailed information, please contact the parish office or look in the weekly bulletin.
Detailed information about Religious Education can be found here or by calling the parish office.
