Liturgy Committee
The Liturgy is the “people’s work”, the celebration of our faith as a community. The mission of the All Saints Liturgy Committee is to foster the conscious, full and active participation of our community gathered for Sunday, Holy Days and special weekday masses by:
- Preparing effective liturgical ministers
- Fully developing meaningful rites and texts for celebration
- Providing an appropriate, inviting environment

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
The Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist is a layperson commissioned by the pastor to assist in the distribution of Holy Eucharist during the liturgy. Attendance at a training workshop sanctioned by the parish is mandatory prior to participation in this ministry.

Art & Environment
Our committee is made up of volunteers that prepare the environment during the liturgical seasons of the church year. We work closely with all the ministries in the Liturgy Committee in preparation of each season.
Our purpose is to encourage active participation in the liturgy through the use of signs, symbols and processional movement in order to celebrate all forms of liturgy with fullness and gracefulness. The church year celebrates the mystery of Christ, the paschal mystery through liturgy.
Music Ministry
This ministry aids in enhancing the liturgy with appropriate and inspiring music to encourage participation by the entire church community. We welcome your talents and interest in worshipping God by sharing your musical talents in one of the music groups – adults, youth, children, funeral or wedding.
Altar Servers
Altar servers have a special ministry in the church. Therefore in the liturgy you are far more than mere “helpers of the parish priest.” Above all you are servants of Jesus Christ The eternal High Priest. Thus you altar servers especially are called to be young friends of Jesus, strive to deepen and foster this friendship with him. You will discover that in Jesus you have found a true friend for life.
The altar server has a privileged place in liturgical celebrations. Those who serve at mass present themselves to a community. They experience from close at hand that Jesus Christ is present and active in every liturgy. Jesus is present whenever the community gathers to pray and give praise to God. Jesus is present in words of sacred scripture. Jesus is present above all in the Eucharist, under the appearances of bread and wine. He acts through the priest who celebrates Holy Mass and administers the Sacraments in the person of Christ.
The vestments worn by altar servers are very special. They recall a garment that everyone puts on when he is welcomed in Jesus Christ, into the community. I am referring to the baptismal garment whose deep meaning is explained by St. Paul: “For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ (Gal 3:27)
As the ALTAR SERVERS “light of the world”. Do not hold your candlestick only inside the church but take the light to the Gospel to all who live in darkness and are going through a difficult time in their lives.
Lectors
Lectors proclaim the Word of God at each of the Masses. This ministry is open to all parishioners who have been confirmed. There is a parish lector certification requirement prior to participating in the ministry. This is a beautiful ministry in which to be involved.
Greeters/Ushers
We welcome and seat visitors, parishioners; help any visitors; assist with emergencies; collect and secure the gifts. We welcome any newcomers to join our ministry.
Linen Ladies
We are a group of ladies that wash the purificators and hand towels used at the Mass. We welcome anyone who would like to help us in this ministry.
