Mother Cabrini Guild
Coordinators: Margaret Fontenot 693-0765 and Peg McGivney 693-3244
Tuesdays at 9:45am in the Resource Room
Discuss books and/or movies in light of current events.
We gather to discuss, dialogue and enjoy fellowship with women who enjoy casual conversation about varying topics, including the current book we are reading, The Gift of Years, Growing Older Gracefully by Sister Joan Chittister and rereading one of our favorites, Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. For the last few years, we have found that reading from the book aloud during the meeting helps everyone keep up, without added expense of purchasing each book and expect everyone to be on the same page. We take our time, never rushing to select the next book or finish the one we happen to be reading. New members are always welcome as we love getting to know new people.
