The Sacrament of Matrimony

The Diocese of Knoxville requires at least 4 months of marriage preparation before receiving the Sacrament of Matrimony. The first step of planning a Catholic Wedding at All Saints is to choose a priest or deacon to officiate the Sacrament. Once the engaged couple and the officient have an agreement, the officient will work closely between the couple and the parish office to complete all of the steps needed to get married in the Church including marriage preparation, reserving the church, collecting sacramental records, selecting music and readings for the day of the wedding, etc.
