The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a group of lay volunteers seeking to grow in holiness through person-to-person service. The members of the Society are called "Vincentians."
We meet every other week to grow in friendship, spirituality, and to move forward with helping our "neighbors in need" in a variety of ways.
We offer person-to-person service to those who are in need and are suffering, in the tradition of our founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul. We offer a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand, a much-needed prayer, as well as corporal help - helping a mother of 6 with a home that's in need of repair to fix a door, helping a disabled veteran to pack up her home and load a moving truck, providing means for rent or utilities to neighbors in need who just need a helping hand - getting a wheelchair for a newly disabled neighbor, walking hand-in-hand with a homeless woman as she works toward and finally achieves housing, providing food to the hungry, and so much more.
We are a friendly, welcoming group, and we would love for you to join us! We have many ways for you to get involved - come and see what would be a good fit for you!
